The talented crew at Muskrat Tech shared another DIY project that can benefit any over Lander as well as the person who dabbles in DIY work in general. They’ve shared the parts and fittings that you would need to create a low cost but high-quality DIY 4 tire inflation system. unlike most tire inflation set ups. This is not limited to only inflating tires. Underlanding.com has the skinny on one of their projects shared earlier this week.
Underlanding.com was sent over the bill of materials to share with the underlanding community. The video gives the how to with a few basic hand tools.
- 50ft Flexzilla Hose
- 25ft Flexzilla Hose
- 4-pack I/M hose fittings
- 4 port quick coupler manifold
- Harbor Freight I/M Fittings pack
- Screw on air fittings
- Right angle ball valve
- 1/4” NPT Ball Valve
- Pressure Gauge
- 1/4” NPT to 1/8” NPT Bushing
- Air chucks – ***Optional replacement for right angle ball valves and screw on fittings
The basic tools you will need in addition include standard wrenches, a vice ideally, step drillbit that goes up to half inch at least, 7/16 drill bit.
