A new novel approach to improving the duty cycle of tire inflators has been brewing over at MuskraTTech. In effort to continuously improve technologies for the Underlanding community the crew has been working on taking a stock affordable tire inflator and bridging the gap to 100% duty cycle. The popular Youtube channel MuskraTTech dropped a video today that highlights a project they’ve had in the works for a couple of weeks. Utilizing a high volumetric flow rate fan and a cleverly designed bracket the team was able to take one of Harbor Freight’s new Maddox Air Compressor and actively cool the motor for the inflator. They are continuing to work on active cooling for the compressor’s head, but there hasn’t been much headway in the communities for improving stochiometric efficiencies for tire inflators.
